It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ricky Lee Grandy, who left this world on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Born on October 25, 1964, in Ivan, Arkansas, to Jeremiah and Dorothy (Lawson) Grandy. Ricky was a vibrant soul who made his home in Bristol, Wisconsin, where he spent many happy years.
Ricky was known to many as a hardworking carpenter and one who loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He dedicated his life to crafting and building, and his hands were always busy creating something special.
He will be deeply missed by his children, Lillian La Masha Grandy “MiMi”, LaPatience LaChol Grandy and Ricky Leonard Grandy Jr.; his siblings, Craig Allen, Jeremiah (Sharon) Grandy Jr., Angela Carroll, Elaine (Byron) Williams, Wayne Grandy, Rodereick (Heather) Grandy and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother, Lee Anthony Grandy.
Ricky’s unique spirit and infectious laugh brought joy to those who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

A gathering honoring Ricky’s life will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Kingdom Word Global Impact Ministries, 5624 6th Ave., Kenosha, WI.
