Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintRick Perrine, age 60, of Kenosha, passed away at United Hospital System- Kenosha Campus on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on April 13, 1954, in Kenosha he was the son of Louis and Florence (Corbelli) Perrine. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, Rick attended Holy Rosary grade school, was a 1972 graduate of St. Joseph High School and also received an accounting degree from Gateway Technical College.
Since the 1970’s, Rick currently owned and operated Perrine’s Snow Removal. In 1997, his son, Michael, joined the ranks and together, they added lawn care services. He also was previously the co-owner of Fon-Tan-Blu drive-in and was also the owner of 3 seconds sports apparel.
Over the years, Rick was the consummate sports enthusiast. He coached basketball with KUSD at both Lance and Washington Middle Schools for 20 years; with Holy Rosary for 20 years and for several years, coached Kenosha Small Fry. To date, he is the only coach who won an international championship title for Kenosha Small Fry. For approximately 10 years, Rick coached football for Holy Rosary in the CYO Program. He also served on the Board of Directors for the CYO sports program and was also a member of the Holy Rosary Sports Night committee. Rick was a member of the Racine Roma Lodge and the Italian-American Club. Aside from his numerous years of coaching, Rick was a 28 year season ticket holder of the Milwaukee Bucks, loved to follow the Chicago Bears and also loved spending his free time traveling and visiting the casinos to play at craps and slot machines.
He will be deeply missed by his son, Michael; his mom, Florence, two brothers, Nick (Shari) and Lou (Laurie), a sister, Donna Preston; a niece, Jena Perrine; along with four nephews, Christopher Preston, Anthony (Christina), Louie (Emily) and Nicholas and his two faithful canine companions, Coco and Penny.
Rick was preceded in death by his father, Lou in 1985.

Service Date November 10, 2014
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 9:15 a.m. from the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic, 4804 7th Avenue. Interment will follow in St. George Cemetery.
