Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintReynaldo Gonzalez, age 71, passed away at Aurora Medical Center on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Tlacolula Oaxaca, Mexico on November 6, 1949, he was the son of the late Eloy and Maria de Jesus (Garcia) Gonzalez. He graduated High School in Mexico and received his associates degree from Gateway Technical Institute.
On June 24, 2017, Reynaldo was united in marriage to Florentina Vieyra.
Reynaldo was employed as a Welder for American Brass. He also was employed with Kenosha Transit as a bus driver for 19 years.
He moved from Mexico making Kenosha his home for 41 years. He enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. Reynaldo’s skills gave him the ability to fix anything in the house, he loved working in the yard; but most of all he was known to give candy to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
His smile among many other attributes will be remembered by his loved ones and those who knew him. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Florentina Gonzalez; his children, Chano (Dawn) Perez of Kenosha, Tina Villegas of Kenosha, Arturo (Julie) Perez of Kenosha, and Joel (Jennifer) Gonzalez of Kenosha; his stepdaughter, Gloria Chavez-Vieyra of Calendonia; his 17 grandchildren, his 11 step grandchildren; his 14 great grandchildren; his 9 step great grandchildren; his siblings, Rogelio (Julie) Gonzalez of Cudahy, Josefine (Augustine) Gonzalez-Luis of Mexico and Chevela (Carlos) Jimenez of Mexico and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Reynaldo was preceded in death by his brothers, Manuel, Heladio and Jorge Gonzalez of Mexico.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Aurora Home Hospice team for all their care and support. In addition, the family would also like to give a special thank you to RN’s Maria and Pam for their compassion and care for the family during their time of grief.

Interment will follow in Green Ridge Cemetery.
A visitation for Reynaldo will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 – 39th Avenue, Kenosha, WI 53144.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to Aurora Home Hospice, 1155 Honey Creek Parkway, Wauwatosa, WI 53213 would be appreciated by the family.
Due to public health concerns, and in compliance with CDC guidelines, only 50 people will be permitted to enter the funeral home at one time. For the safety of our guests, you may be asked to wait outside. Social distancing will be maintained and those in attendance are required to wear a face covering.
