Born on June 6, 1956 in Kenosha, she was the daughter of James E. and Elouise (Wolfe) Tolefree. She attended Tremper High School and Gateway Technical College.
For 24 years, Regina was employed as a line worker at AMC/Chrysler.
She was an avid reader, bingo player and a “shoeaholic”. Regina was a very attractive lady and she always took great pride in her appearance. She liked meeting new people and served her community well. Regina loved to cook for family and friends.
Regina is survived by her father, James Tolefree; her three children, David (Erika) Tolefree, Shanell Tolefree and Jalen Tolefree; her siblings, Dexter Tolefree, Wendy (Michael) Thompkins and Brenda Tolefree; her beautiful grandchildren, Amia, David, Jr., Kamrin, Noa, Jordyn and Nina; her loving nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; and numerous family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elouise Tolefree; two brothers, Terrance and Curtis Tolefree, Sr.; and two grandchildren, Elye and Grace.
Service Date November 2, 2018
A Home Going Service honoring Regina’s life will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Greater Mount Hebron Church of God in Christ, 7445 20th Avenue. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Cemetery.
