On the morning of April 12, 2024, Randall Torrey passed peacefully from this life with his beloved wife Lisa and their devoted Labradors by his side. Randall was preceded in death by his parents, George and Amy Torrey. In addition to his wife Lisa, Randall is survived by his father-in-law, Carol Schaefer; his sister-in-law, Sarah Wright (Steve Funk); his brother-in-law, Rick Schaefer (Robin); his nephews, Eliott and Grant Schaefer, and his niece, Annie Schaefer. Those who were fortunate to work with Randall knew firsthand his artistry and skill as a fine cabinetmaker. A kind and generous man, with a twinkle in his eye and love of a story well told, Randall will be missed beyond words.
Randall wanted to express his heartfelt gratitude to his wife’s family, which he cherished being a part of, for their love, laughter, and many kindnesses. Special thanks to Gabe, Nick, Mike, Kevin, Pat, Nance, Val, Karen, Gary, and Donna for their friendship and for their help and support, especially during these last few difficult months. Many thanks also to Aurora at Home Hospice, particularly Holly.
