Phyllis Lee Goforth, age 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Brookside Care Center in Kenosha, WI.
Born in New Haven, IL on January 27, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Ruth (Medlin) Browning.
On December 28, 1949 in Pocahontas, AR, Phyllis was united in marriage to Burtis Goforth.
Phyllis was employed with Sears, Aldens, and Speigel Catalog, she also worked for Bella Medical Supplies and Lens Pharmacy until her retirement.
She is survived by her daughter, Ruth (Larry) Hanrath; her grandchildren, Cindi (Dan) Salisbury and Ryan (David) Hanrath; her great grandchildren, Courtney, Jack and Max Salisbury.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Burtis Goforth and her son, Lewis Goforth.
Funeral services honoring Phyllis’s life were held privately.
Private inurnment will take place in Union Ridge Cemetery.
