I am so sad to see your smiling face to go away! I know you are now with your God, and are peaceful. I have shared so many memories with you as you have with my family! My mom wanted me to tell you were her top student at the boys and girls club in her knitting class! She will always remember you as Dr. Phil as you put in her phone by you before she left 4 years ago! Vince would love to be here for this and you already know this! Thank you for the memories you have brought to my family! From 1st grade and on! We will all miss you Dearly! Miss and Love you.

Very sad to hear that my friend and 4x800 meter relay teammate/training partner at Tremper HS has passed away at the way too young age of 23. Phil was a sophomore when I was a senior and with far less training/experience, quickly became faster than me at at both the 800 (half-mile) meter and the 1600 (mile) meter races. We had a friendly inner-team rivalry. Here's a photo of our team/training group after failing to qualify for the state meet in May 2007 in Janesville, WI at Sectionals, with Phil all the way to the right and me on the left. Phil, you'll be missed by everyone you met in the Kenosha running community. Running friends are friends for life. RIP, brother.

i am so saddened to hear of Philip's passing. I thoroughly enjoyed being his third grade teacher, he was a fun, kind and thoughtful person. Prayers ascending for his family.
