I love you dad. I have great peace knowing that I will see you again someday and in the meantime I will work hard to continue your legacy including your love for God, family, love of life and servant leadership. Thank you for being such and awesome father and friend. Love, your son Paul.

So sorry for your loss you guys are in our thoughts and prayers. I always enjoyed talking to Paul when we visited the family he will be truly missed. From the first time Andy and Christy invited us over he treated us as one of the family.

Pat, or Patsy, was what I called her back at Evangel University, 1963, and I became friends as we shared the same dorm. There was always a small picture of a young man named Paul Blount on her desk that we used to tease her about and she would always deny any attraction to! But, we all knew the attraction was always deeper than that. And, sure enough, after graduating from Evangel, things began to get more serious between Paul Blount and Patsy Batty. As Pat and I remained friends, I was invited to be a part of the wedding party, and that’s where the friendship began between Paul and my husband Roy Larson began. It was hard not to love Paul! He was friendly and outgoing and had a great love of life. Our families melded together with short summertime trips to each other’s homes! Paul always made sure we had fun on the water each time we visited their home in Iowa! The trips back and forth slowed down as our families grew up and began to have lives of their own, but our friendship never slowed down. Paul Blount, and his wife and family, will always have a very special place in our hearts! I love you Blount family and will be praying for you as you enter this new season in your lives!
