Born on September 14, 1963, he was the son of Michael and Judith (Schoettler) Lukes in Evanston, IL. He graduated from Boone Grove High School and received a degree in Laser Optics Technology from Vincennes University.
Pat worked for Laserage his entire adult life as a Manufacturing Engineer Technician in Laser Optics. He was also a cherished Youth Group Leader with First Christian Church and a mission trip participant.
Fishing, bicycling, BBQ’s, listening to all kinds of music, and church activities were some of Pat’s favorite activities. He loved to watch sports and was a big fan of the Cubs, Blackhawks, Bears, and Steelers, and enjoyed good bourbon and cigars. He was a friend to many and helped anyone who asked.
He is survived by his sons, Matthew (Haley) Lukes of San Diego, CA and Christopher Lukes of Kansas City, MO; his siblings, Eileen (Joe) Baliga of Daleville, IN, Elizabeth (Tom) Lindsey of Rosemount, MN, Timothy Lukes of Salem, WI, Daniel (Laurie) Lukes of Valparaiso, IN; his close family friend, Mitzi Mucciarone; his uncles, John (Daisy) Lukes and David Lukes; his cousins and many nieces and nephews.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents.

SERVICE LOCATION First Christian Church
Memorial services honoring Patrick’s life will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church, 13022 Wilmot Road, Kenosha.
Pat will be laid to rest in Indiana near his parents.
A gathering of relatives and friends are asked to meet at the church at 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to First Christian Church or ABTA (American Brain Tumor Association) www.abta.org would be appreciated.
