Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintPatricia V. Schoettler, 73, of Kenosha, passed away Saturday, July, 18th, 2015, at her home, surrounded by her loving family and furry friends.
A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was born on December 27th, 1941, to the late Edmund and Molly (Rannick) Wierzbicki. She attended Kenosha public schools and graduated from Bradford High School.
On March 1st, 1970, Patricia happily married Frank J. Schoettler. Together they raised five children.
Patricia had many jobs including preparing taxes, working at St. Catherine’s and McDonald’s where she made numerous friends along the way. She loved traveling, square dancing, crocheting, gardening, and fishing with her father. Later on in life Patricia enjoyed the ‘Got Crayons’ annual coloring contest with her husband and children.
Patricia is survived by her five children; Debra Fredrick of Kenosha, Dawn (Craig Tabbert) Anderson of Park Falls, Pamela (Joseph) Snowtala of Kenosha, Susan (Hector) Melchor of Madison, Joseph (Michelle) Schoettler of Kenosha; sixteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
She is further survived by her brother James (Karen) Wierzbicki of Kenosha, many loving nieces and nephews, and furry friends; Gizmo, Boss, Sandy, and Moose.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Frank; two brothers, Michael (Elizabeth) Weirzbicki and Harold “Buddy” Rannick; her sister, Joanne VanLone, and her grandson, Douglas Melchor.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice Alliance; especially her nurse, Pat and her CNA, Catherine in assisting in Patricia’s quality of life.
Service Date August 1, 2015
A “Celebration of Life” will be held on Saturday, August 1st, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. at the Fireside Restaurant & Lounge, 2801 30th Ave., Kenosha, WI.
