Pastor Ron was born on November 28, 1951, in Yankton, SD to Ervin and Nancy (Wolhoy) Auch. He was raised in Rapid City, SD. He answered the call of God on his life, graduating from North Central Bible College, Minneapolis, MN, and served the Lord he loved in ministry for 42 years.
On June 14, 1975, he married Lou Ann Littner. They were blessed with a son, Ron Jr.
Ron had a passion for his God and people. He loved to teach people of the intimacy through prayer they could have with God. He was known for his quick wit, availability to others and compassionate spirit. He not only pastored at Prayer House A/G in Kenosha WI but began Pray Tell Ministries (1980), traveling around the world, teaching and training others. He authored 10 books, was a member of the National Prayer Committee and was honored to open the US House of Representatives (Washington DC) on June 6, 2001 with prayer.
He is survived by his wife, Lou Ann; his son, Ronald J Auch, Jr., his daughter-in-love, Heidi and the joys of his life, Ron John, Avery and Micah. He is further survived by his brothers, Barry (Geri) and Darryl (Teri) Auch; his sister-in-law, Teena Auch; his brother-in-law, Ed Littner and several nieces and nephews.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin and Nancy, and a brother, Doug.
Service Date July 28, 2018
A Memorial Service honoring Pastor Ron Auch’s life will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Journey Church, 10700 75th Street. Private entombment will take place in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
