Monroe was born on September 13, 1960 in Vance, Mississippi and he was a blessing baby to Fannie M. Darden and Grover Darden. He attended public schools in Summer, Mississippi.
The Darden Family moved to Chicago, IL in 1978 and to Kenosha, WI in 1982.
Monroe enjoyed playing and watching football, fishing and riding his bike.
Monroe leaves his only surviving sister, Annie McClinton and a host of nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Grover Darden; his mother, Fannie M. Darden; his sister, Fannie Mae Darden; his brother, Grover “Sam” Darden; and four nephews, Jerry and Tyrone Darden and Ira and Albert McClinton.

SERVICE LOCATION Piasecki Funeral Home
A Home Going Service honoring Monroe’s life will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue. Relatives and friends are asked to meet at Green Ridge Cemetery following the service. A visitation for Monroe will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 18th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Home Going Service.
