Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintMilan Miskovic, age 59 of Kenosha, loving husband of Lori (Haapala); proud father of Kyle; dear son of Uros and Maria (Bolotov) Miskovic, died on Thursday, August 28, 2014, at his residence with his loving family by his side.
Born on January 12, 1955 in Racine, he was a graduate of U.W. Parkside where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
On November 10, 1984 at St. Sava Cathedral in Milwaukee, he was united in marriage to Lori Haapala.
For many years, Milan was employed in retail and customer service with Boston Store, Modine Aftermarket in Milwaukee, Ruud Lighting, and most recently Menard’s in Racine.
Milan was an avid photographer and videographer. He loved taking photos of the plentiful feasts of food at dining room tables. He was a chaperone and videographer for many performances, parades, and trips for the Continental Band, Rambler Band and Band of the Black Watch. He was a fan of NASCAR and the Packers. But most importantly, Milan enjoyed taking family vacations.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Lori Miskovic; his son, Kyle Milan Miskovic; his parents, Uros and Maria Miskovic; and his brother, Alex (Colleen) Miskovic.
Milan is further survived by his father and mother-in-law, Ron and Annette Haapala; his sisters-in-law, Nancy (Joe) Schrandt and Sandy (Dan) Vidas; his loving niece; and many nephews.

Service Date September 4, 2014
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 6108 Braun Rd. Mt. Pleasant. Interment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park.
