Rest in heaven, Mike. Even with all the time that has passed I find myself thinking of you and your family often. Almost all of my best childhood memories had you in it. I sit here with my lil guy and can only hope he has half the fun we did! You were such a special soul and my heart goes out to your family. My heart breaks for you all and all the love and prayers are being sent your way.

Michael, I don't think we have spoken in probably 20 years now, but I still think often of the times we spent together. Tinkering with your car, cruising around or even just when we worked together. I will always remember you as very intelligent, very motivated and hard working. I looked up to you back then and forever will. Rip buddy.

I am deeply saddened by the news of Michael's passing. His memory holds dear to my heart. Although I did not see the amazing man, he grew up to become I was lucky enough to have him in my life when he was just a young boy. One fond memory that we often reminisce about is when Danielle was little and had phenomena, she would not take her medicine from any of us in the house. The only one she trusted was Michael, so I would call Susan and ask if she would please bring Michael over to the house to give Danielle her medicine. Of course, they jumped in the car to complete the task at hand. This went on for several days. It’s funny but children see deeper than adults and obviously, my little girl saw something in Michael that gave her trust and peace. The memories of watching him jump with Amanda on the trampoline in the backyard or the countless days spent in the pool at his grandparent's house. He certainly gave me so many dear memories. For that I am grateful. I will pray that God gives you strength and refuge during this most difficult time. I love you all.
