You don't know me but I went all through St, Marys and St. Joes with Mike. He was always such a nice and kind guy, even when it wasn't cool to be. I kind of lost touch with Mike after high school but he was always my "Ace Hardware Man" so we'd talk if I stopped in the store. No matter how busy he was, he always made time to chat. Along came Facebook and we connected again. He was always so proud of your boys and their families. His love for you, Gina, showed in every picture he posted. I know what a huge hole in you lives his passing will be and will pray that all those fun times and great memories will help fill the emptiness. RIP to a great guy Mike, we were all better people for having known you. You will be missed.

Some moments of this life make us very sad. This is one of them: I am especially sad for wonderful Gina and for Mike's family. But I am also thankful that this sad moment gives us the chance to celebrate the life of a great guy. Oh, the fun times we had working together at Ace Hardware in the mid '70's. As he was working his way up and up in the world, Mike never stopped thinking of other people - a quality that served him and the community well. It occurs to me to remark that I literally can't remember anyone who didn't like Mike! What memories! Whatta Guy! See ya later, Mike...
