Melissa “Missy” Elizabeth (Majerko) de Lamerens, age 35, passed away on Sunday July 24, 2022 of natural causes.
Born September 5, 1986, to Diana Campbell and raised with Timothy Majerko. She graduated from Bradford High School in 2005 and earned her degree for Medical Assistant from Kaplan University in 2013.
On November 4, 2017, in Tawas MI, she was united in marriage to Paul Andre’ de Lamerens of Madison, IN.
Melissa loved spending time with family, friends her cat Lilly and golden retriever Mingo. Melissa loved anything involving flamingos. The illness that Melissa had been suffering from caused her great pain and discomfort, even so, through social media, she loved helping others that were in a similar situation with her knowledge and experience.
Melissa is survived by her husband, Paul Andre de Lamerens; her mother, Diana (David) Haugh, her father, Timothy Majerko; her sisters, Angie and Hannah; her brother, Michael (Haliegh); her nieces and nephews, Mia, Connor and Lucca; her grandmother, Rita Haugh; her great aunt, Vera Ruffalo and her great uncle, Ronald Ruffalo.
Melissa was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Patricia Campbell, Ed and Caroline Majerko and James P. Haugh.
A celebration honoring Melissa’s life will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to a charity of your choice.
