Born on May 19, 1929 in Paris Township, Kenosha County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Oveda (Crane) Wisnefski. Maureen was a graduate of Union Grove High School.
On January 24, 1948, she was united in marriage to George N. Willkomm at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Paris Township.
Maureen was an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
Maureen was employed as a Cook for The University of Parkside. She enjoyed golfing, gambling, gardening especially flowers, was an avid Packer fan and spent the winters in Florida.
Maureen leaves behind many joyful memories for all of us. Her love of life, her dreams for her children and her love of family as well as others who loved her. She is survived by her children, Judy (Joe) Brezovar of WI, Chuck (Barbara) Willkomm of MO, Janice (Mike) Nagel of NM and Cheryl (Rick) Poisl of WI; her nine grandchildren, Wendy, Tracy, Christopher, Tammy, Heather, Jacob, Justin, Jessica and Katie; and her ten great grandchildren, Jason, Ben, Madison, Jake, Abigail, Luke, Ethan, Peyton, Emma and Carter. Maureen is further survived by her sisters, Karen Noonan, Gail (Virgil) Gentz; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark (Barbara) Wisnefski, Lawrence (Elizabeth) Wisnefski; Sister Generose Willkomm of St. Francis, WI and Mary Lou Willkomm.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, George; her brothers-in-law, Paul Peterson, George Thomas, Patrick Noonan; her son-in-law, Ken Terry; her brother, Wayne Wisnefski and her sisters, Marlyn Wisnefski, Rita Thomas and Collette Peterson.

SERVICE LOCATION St. John the Baptist Catholic Church
Funeral services honoring Maureen’s life will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1501 172nd Avenue, Union Grove, WI 53182.
Entombment will take place in All Saints Mausoleum.
A visitation for Maureen will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the entrance of St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1501 172nd Avenue, Union Grove, WI 53182 or Hospice Alliance Inc/Hospice House, 10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158 would be appreciated by the family.
