John and family, you have my sympathy as you grieve the homegoing of Mary. I worked with her at the Jockey DC when there were busy times and she inspired me to write in a small date book of the days happenings in the Jockey Pocket planner which I began in 1987 and continue to this day in a small weekly planner every year. The other day I was at Petts, and I thought about John and Mary and greeting them at different times as we walked there. Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants.

John & Family, I am so very sorry for your Loss. Mary had a beautiful smile and was so kind. My heart hurts for you. I lost my husband to Covid last year. May you find peace & comfort in the memories you shared. I found comfort in these words. "Your Wings Were Ready but My Heart Was Not." Prayers for you * your Family Donna (Martin) Juzwik

John and family, I am so so sorry for your loss. Your in our thoughts and prayers! I will hold Mary close to my heart forever. She was like a sister. We always made work a fun place to be, and loved all the kids like our own. My shopping days will never be the same without her next to me laughing. And finding the good deals. She loved her family with all her heart. Talked about all the good times. Mary you will be missed.. Love you all, Chuck and Kathy Leisten

Dear John, Family, and Tinker, My heartfelt sympathy. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Mary was always so much fun to work with! We had many grand times swimming at the Leisten pool! I will think of her when I walk Pets and Corbett Road. I’m sure she is in heaven enjoying enjoying all the vibrant fall colors. Always, Anna and Dave

Blessed be, Mary. May you Rest In Peace. I have always admired your joyful disposition and your radiance. Ever since you were little you exhibited this joy and it appears that you continued this throughout your life. Even though we didn’t see each other much in adulthood, I always enjoyed talking with you and John at Grandma and Grandpa Metten’s house over the holidays. Each year we seemed to show up at the same time, and that was a gift. The love that you shared with John was evident to anyone who saw you together. I have enjoyed reconnecting with you on Facebook and seeing the beautiful pictures of you with your family, a treasure to be cherished now. ….John , my heart goes out to you and I am so thankful that Mary had you in her life for 42 years of marriage. Please find your peaceful place during this sad time. …..With Love, Diane & Ken Meier

Heaven has gained a luminous soul! Though I've not seen much of you and your family ,John, the last several years (outside of Christmas card and letters), I have many happy memories of Mary Michelle! I knew both of you before you knew each other. When I was in High School, I babysat my two beautiful cousins, Mary Michelle and Nancy! At the same time, I helped out at St. George's grade school , John, when you were in first grade! I was so happy when you two found each other and started a family. I also remember your wonderful hospitality when we would come back to Kenosha in the summer, and your love and support when my mother died. Mary Michelle will be missed by many, but most of all by her beautiful family. I know she is watching over all of you now. Sending many hugs, prayers, and lots of love to all of you! Mary Ellen Quint
