Dear Ryan family: Prayers for peace and comfort to you during this difficult time. I recall all the hard work that Mrs. Ryan did for the benefit of Special Olympics and the KAC for many years. Her dedication and efforts are greatly appreciated. May she rest in peace.

Dear Jim, Patrick, Michael, Sean, Maureen, I am sorry for your loss and send my sympathy to all of you. After hearing of your Mothers passing, I found myself reflecting about growing up on 35th Avenue and how Mary Lynn and the Ryan family contributed to a loving, secure and nurturing neighborhood. It seemed like I was at your house everyday: welcoming, fun, active, warm. I am especially thankful for the many activities the family included me in, in particular our ski trip to Steamboat Springs. My first introduction to big mountain skiing, a passion I have to this day and Mary Lynn preparing a wonderful fondue dinner. Lastly, I was touched when Mary Lynn and Jim attended my wedding in Appleton during a fierce winter storm. Mary Lynn was elegant with a wonderful smile. Sincerely, Jaime

Jim and kids, Our family is all saddened to hear the news. The kids were sad to hear and loved seeing you all and Michael at the "Fun House" or at our family gatherings here in Minneapolis or just visiting at Joanne and Tom's house. We all loved Mary Lynn, she was always looking out for everyone and was a great spirit. She was blessed to have you and the kids. I know that you all will miss her lovely personality, but you are comforted having all the family and friends to support you. The wonderful family and friends memories are irreplaceable and so ever more cherished now. Thanks for being so great to my mom and welcoming her with great support and friendship and the great times you shared with her and Tom Johnson. Best thoughts to you.

To the Ryan's, My condolences to you all. Mary Lynn was a staple for your family, I am certain. May her soul rest in peace. May you and your families find the peace in your hearts, knowing she is in the loving care of Jesus and the blessed Virgin, Mary.

Mary Lynn---What can I say. You were a true free spirit in the sense you always looked for the good in people and you always had a smile, You made the most of enjoying life. I married into your wonderful family and I consider myself blessed to have known you. From the beginning you and I had a bond that I will treasure for always. I am sooooo happy that we were able to spend that week together laughing and having fun in March. You are with the Angels now, but I am sure you are getting them going wondering "Are we having fun yet". You will be deeply missed. Good bye "Dear Friend"

Auntie Mary Lynn..... I will miss you very much. Thanks for all your support over the last 20 years. I will always remember the laughs and good stories. The countless Spagetti in the dells, and even the golf ball adventures. You will be missed and God does have another angel. Please look down on my family and its sad that you were not able to meet my daughter, I know you would have loved her like your own. The best story of them all is that my mom and my aunt rode the motor cycle to nursing school together. Take care and you will be missed.

To Jim, Patrick, Sean, Michael and Maureen, Please accept our deepest sympathy in the loss of your wife/mother and our dear friend. Known Mary Lynn since we met in kindergarten at Roosevelt school and then onto St. Mary's for twelve years. Just lately, it was nice looking forward to seeing her smiling face at the check in desk when she was volunteering at St. Catherine's Hospital every Tuesday. She touched so many lives and she will be missed by all those that knew her. May eternal light shine upon her.
