Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintMary Jane Krueger-Vanoss, age 76, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, at Aurora Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa, WI surrounded by her loving family.
A Registered Nurse by profession, Mary was known for her sense of humor, compassion, and love for her family. Born on March 17, 1948, in Burlington, WI, Mary touched the lives of many during her time working as a Registered Nurse at Brookside Care Center in Kenosha, WI for 26 years.
Mary leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by her daughter, Deanna Russell and Deanna’s husband, Ricky Russell; grandchildren, Jacquelyn German, George German, Gunner Paar, Dakota Smith, Nickalaus Russell, and Rayne Russell. She held a special place in her heart for her fur baby Daisy, and enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren, sharing happy moments and creating lasting memories.
Mary had a special talent for gardening, utilizing her creative skills along with her beloved pie server gardening tool. She was always up for an adventure and was notorious for her “wrong way” directions and love for all things Easter peeps. Mary also showed her family the art of couponing and relished in exploring the fun house with her granddaughter. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren in the cussing car.
Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard Krueger; devoted father, Walter Lunsmann; loving mother, Ethel Cox and her fur baby, Lucy.
Survived and separated by Leon Vanoss and family.

Funeral services and honors by the Wisconsin Nurses Honor Guard will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the Piasecki Funeral Home.

Family and friends are invited to join us in celebrating Mary’s life, on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home as we remember her fondly for her caring nature, contagious laughter, and the love she shared with all who knew her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love of her cherished family and the memories she leaves behind.
Entombment will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. in Sunset Memorial Park Chapel.
