Born on November 21, 1922, in Forca, Province of Ascoli Piceno, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Fillipo and Elisabetta (Rossi) Tabili.
As an infant, she and her family immigrated to the U.S. and to Wilpen, PA. She was a graduate of Ligonier Township, PA High School.
On February 9, 1946, in Kenosha, Mary was united in marriage to Peter Ciotti. Sadly, he preceded her in death on April 20, 1993.
She was employed as a Seamstress with Jockey International for 33 years, retiring in 1985. Mary was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the Holy Rosary Ladies Society, and the Jockey Retirees Club.
Survivors include her two daughters, Linda Turk and Diane (Paul Kaminsky) Ciotti; her granddaughter, Dauria (Michael) Wheeler, and her three great grandchildren, Lili, Eliot, and Gemma Wheeler.
Along with her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by her three brothers, Thomas, Peter, and Frank Tabili, and her sisters, Roseanne Michelli, and Lena Ciotti.
Service Date November 7, 2016
Funeral services honoring Mary’s life will be held on Monday, November 7, 2016 beginning with a prayer service at 11:15 a.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 2224 45th Street. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
