Mary Ann Reindl, age 79, formerly of Kenosha, recently of Green Bay, WI passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018, from complications from Alzheimer’s disease.
Mary Ann was born on September 15, 1938 in Racine and was the daughter of the late Stanley and Janet (nee: Steketee) Dostal. She attended local schools.
In 1957 in Kenosha, she met the love of her life, Carl Richard Reindl. On June 28, 1958 at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, Racine, they were united in marriage. Together they started a family and raised their four children in Kenosha.
For over 18 years Mary Ann worked as a CNA for Kenosha County at Brookside Care Center, retiring in 1997.
While living in Kenosha, Mary Ann was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Pompeii Catholic Church.
She enjoyed retirement with Carl traveling, spending time with family and friends. In 2003 Carl and Mary Ann purchased their winter home in Mesa, AZ. In 2005, they sold their home in Kenosha and shared their time between Arizona and Green Bay. After Carl’s passing in 2009, Mary Ann made Green Bay her home.
Mary Ann had a zest for life. She enjoyed baking, cooking, canning, traveling and attending every country concert she could get tickets to. She was always a phone call away to help anyone.
Mary Ann is survived by her four children, Daniel B. (Donna) Reindl of Kenosha, Lori A. (Peter) de Lange of Viera, FL, Craig R. Reindl of Kenosha and Kristine (Herb) Moring of Green Bay; her eight grandchildren, Ashley and Jeremy de Lange, Nicolas Bernhardt and Jacob, Brittany, Jessica and Megan Reindl and Carlson Morning; her sister, Carol (Pete) Meinert of Racine; and her many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Reindl; her father-in-law, Leo J. Reindl; her mother-in-law, Rose E. Reindl; her sisters-in-law, Nadine M. Reindl and Kay M. Pennel; and her brother-in-law, Butch J. Reindl.
Mary Ann’s family would like to extend a sincere thanks and appreciation to her care team at Woodside Villas. Taking care of an Alzheimer’s patient takes patience, compassion, love with a great sense of humor.

Service Date April 7, 2018
Funeral services honoring Mary Ann’s life will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Pompeii Catholic Church, 2224 45th Street, Kenosha. Relatives and friends are asked to meet at the church for the Mass. Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
