Mary was born in Kenosha, WI on August 2, 1938 to Frank and Mary Klitzke. She was a graduate of from Mary D. Bradford High School and went on to attend Ripon College. She worked as a car hop at a local drive-in where she met her future husband, Ron.
On September 14, 1957, Mary was untied in marriage to Ron Rzeplinski. Together they had 4 children, Jay, James, Julie and Jill. The couple were married 61 years until Ron’s passing in 2019.
Mary was a life-long gardener. In her golden years, she found her love of sports, cheering for the Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers. Mary spent part of her summer in Spooner, WI with her children. After retirement Mary and Ron made Spooner, WI their home.
Mary is survived by her children, Jay (Nancy), Jill and Julie Rzeplinski; her grandson, Chaz (Susie) Rzeplinski; and her great-grandchildren, Archer and Maxwell Rzeplinski.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary; her husband, Ron; and her son, James.
A Celebration of Life honoring Mary will be held at a later date.
