Jeannie, Cindy just told me about Marks passing. Russ and I are so very sorry to hear of this. Please know you and Amy are in our thoughts and prayers.

Let me start out by saying I'm sorry to hear that Mark has passed away. My sympathies to the family. I want to say about Mark as being quite the bowler. Back in 1969, Carl Bloom and I were going to bowl the Super Teens 2 junior league and we needed a bowler since the league was a 3 person team. Coach Lou Guttormsen said Mark would like to bowl with us and we added him to our team. He was a good addition to the team. We won first place every year we bowled in that league. I was winning high average, high series, and high game awards for each year and Mark was winning the second place prizes. Those were good days. I remember like it was yesterday, 1970 or 71, when he and I were bowling at the junior state bowling tournament in Janesville. We didn't get to bowl together. Coach Lou picked the teams. She had me bowl with her two sons, Gary and Lee. I don't remember who Mark bowled with, but he was 4 lanes away from me. I can't remember how we bowled, but I do remember watching Mark pick up a 7-10 split. To this day, I still haven't picked up the 7-10. I wished Mark kept bowling. He might had been inducted into the Kenosha Bowling Hall of Fame like I am.
