Born in Kenosha on June 2, 1959, he was the son of Virgil “Chuck” and Eileen (Majeske) Harp. He attended Kenosha County schools and was a graduate of Central High School.
After being together for nine years, Mark and Lee Ann Tabili were united in marriage on May 9, 2002 in New Orleans.
For 30 years, he was employed with the City of Kenosha, working in various departments throughout his career, retiring in 2014.
He was a member of the former AFSME Local #71 and a former member of the Kenosha Moose Lodge #286. Mark’s hobbies included cooking, camping, riding his motorcycle and vegetable gardening. He took great pride in his yard and his talents around the house allowed him to remodel, complete various wood working projects and fix just about anything.
Mark will be deeply missed by his wife, Lee Ann; his two children, Brittany (Timothy) Cady and Travis (Katherine) Harp and eight grandchildren, Benjamin, Elijah and Alayna Cady, Isaiah, Logan, Jameson, Ellianna and Kiera Harp with the 9th grandchild expected to arrive on October 4th. He is further survived by his sisters-in-law, Kristine Kling, Janet (James) Splitek, Susan (Lee) Downs and his nieces, Grace Kling and Rachel Downs.
He was preceded in death by his father, Chuck; his father and mother-in-law, Frank and Susan Tabili and his brother-in-law, Gaylord Kling.
Service Date September 10, 2016
A memorial service celebrating the life of Mark will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue. Private inurnment will be held in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park at a later date.
