Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintFormer registered nurse Marion L. Beckmeyer,90, died July 2nd,2018, at the Kenosha Senior Living in Kenosha Wisconsin. Marion requested her body be donated to the Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois in Chicago, Illinois.
Miss Beckmeyer was born March 12, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late Sylvia M. Pfeiffer. Marion could accomplish anything she set her mind to and often went out of her way to help others in need. One of her loves were animals in distress and she was able to offer shelter and care for many over the years of her life.
Marion also was a registered nurse at Resurrection Hospital for over forty years and was promoted to a head nursing position within several years after joining the hospital. After retiring Marion donated her time to Lambs Farm in Libertyville, Illinois working in the gift shop and management of product accusation.
Miss. Beckmeyer lived in Chicago, Illinois for 86 years before moving to Trevor, Wisconsin were she enjoyed country living and the great outdoors. Especially the over whelming open spaces, trees, grass, farms, and the friendly atmosphere of country living. The move allowed her to pursue her interests including family, gardening, reading, and knitting.
Miss Beckmeyer is survived by her nephew, William S. Beckmeyer III.
A memorial service is to be announced at a later date.
