Born in Kenosha on February 3, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Clara (Dreifke) Loef. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she attended local schools.
On January 31, 1953 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Robert L. Morelli, Sr. They were active in Kenosha where they raised 5 children and shared in almost 58 years of marriage until Bob passed away on January 9, 2011.
Marilyn was a homemaker for her family; involved with her parish- Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and supported the C.Y.O. Band along with her husband. She was skillful and creative with crafts including knitting and crocheting. Marilyn will be remembered as a sweet and kind woman who above all, cherished her family.
Marilyn will be deeply missed by her children, Linda (David) Kloet, Thomas (Ann), John (Mary) and Robert (Beth) Morelli, Jr., fifteen adored grandchildren; and nine cherished great-grandchildren; a sister, Kathy Armato; daughter in law, Connie Aerosmith and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marilyn was preceded in death by a son, William ”Bill” Morelli and a brother, Dennis Loef; sister in law, Mary Ann Loef and brother in law, Gene Armato.
Service Date July 10, 2015
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI. Entombment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.
