After a long battle with a rare disease, Marilyn (Casson) Bose, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 in Kenosha.

Born on April 16, 1941 in Racine, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Jr. and Marjorie (Nelson) Casson. She grew up attending local schools and graduated from Park High School.

On September 26, 1959, she was united in marriage to Gilbert Bose, Jr. Together they were married for 63 years and had four beloved children.

Marilyn was a Green Bay Packer fan, enjoyed bowling, and was a collector of “all things”. She was known for her festive Christmas parties. She loved to travel -some of her favorite destinations were Las Vegas and Alaska. Being a music lover, Elvis was one of her all-time favorites.

Marilyn will be missed by her husband, Gilbert; her children, Barbara Bose of Las Vegas, NV, Donna (Gary) Rhey of Kenosha, Anthony (Elsa) Bose of Kenosha, Cindy (Greg) Peppers of Racine; her grandchildren, Natalie, Latasha, Allissya, Simone; her great-grandchildren, Jhenova, Kristoffer, Allena, Allayjah, Christian “CJ”, Anthony; her sisters, Ellen Norby of Eugene, OR, Kay Horne of Texas, and many relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving brother, Clarence Casson, III and her life-long best friend, Jan Wendt.

Marilyn’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff with Aurora Hospice at Home- especially Danielle.
