Born in Kenosha on June 24, 1924, she was the daughter of Frank and Alma (Windorf) Bartell.
On September 18, 1948, Peggy married Edward Adams at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Kenosha.
Peggy enjoyed having lunch at Gateway Café, and was a gifted artist who won numerous awards for her pieces. She loved extensively traveling the world and has been to many wonderful places.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Allison and Christopher Adams; nieces and nephews, Ken Skendziel, Jim Skendziel, Pat Pechura, Tom Pechura, Jeff Pechura, Carol Chase, Jerry Adamowicz, Gwen Duff, Gayle Bray and Sharon Roberts.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband; her son, Michael Adams; her sister, Joyce Lapcewich; her niece, Linda Marinelli; her nephews, Gary Moddes and Bob Moddes.

SERVICE LOCATION St. Peter Catholic Church
Memorial services honoring Marguerite’s life will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Relatives and friends are asked to meet at the church for the Mass.
Private inurnment will take place in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
A gathering for Marguerite will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church.
