Born on January 13, 1936 in Los Angeles, CA. to Jose and Angela (Torres) Valdez.
On October 24, 1954 she was united in marriage to Antonio Gomez in Lytle, Texas.
In her free time, Margarita enjoyed completing jigsaw puzzles, playing Rummy & Kings Corner, word search puzzles, embroidery and crocheting.
She will be dearly missed by her children, Maria (Dan) Foreman, Gloria Parreant, Jovita Wates, Julio (Kathy) Gomez, Jose Gomez; 24 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren and her sister Benita Hewlett.
Margarita was preceded in death by her husband and parents; her brothers, Jesus Valdez, Louis Valdez, Ruben Valdez; her sons, Antonio Gomez and Eduardo Gomez.

SERVICE LOCATION Piasecki Funeral Home
Time of family sharing honoring Margarita’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Green Ridge Cemetery.
A visitation for Margarita will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to be made in Margarita’s honor to The Hospice Alliance 10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158 www.hospicealliance.org.
Due to public health concerns, and in compliance with CDC guidelines, only 50 people will be permitted to enter the funeral home at one time. Social distancing will be maintained and those in attendance are required to wear a face covering. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this difficult time.
