Born on January 1, 1926 in Waukegan, IL., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Etta (Sheldon) Hutchinson. Margaret attended local schools and graduated from Waukegan East High School.
On May 3, 1947, she was united in marriage to Henry J. Krawczyk at Immaculate Conception Church in Waukegan, IL. They were blessed with five children and married for almost 74 years! They lived in North Chicago for 45 years then made Pleasant Prairie their home. They were members of Holy Family Church in North Chicago and St. Therese in Kenosha.
Margaret was employed as a waitress with the Officers Club at the Great Lakes Naval Base, a supervisor with Illinois Bell Telephone Company and the Head Cashier with North Chicago High School Cafeteria.
She was homemaker and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society, Catholic Women’s Club, Sewing Club at Victory Memorial Hospital and a Volunteer at the VA Medical Center in North Chicago. Margaret enjoyed going to casinos but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and going out to eat with them.
Margaret and Henry spent many winters in Las Vegas and Tucson, AZ., where they had many close friends.
Margaret will be deeply missed by her children, David (Bobbie Morris) Krawczyk, Delbert (Carol) Krawczyk, Paul Krawczyk and Mary Jo (Mike) McLean; her grandchildren, Peter Krawczyk, Beth (Jerry) Kennedy, Chris McLean and Janessa McLean; her brother, Melvin (Loretta) Hutchinson and her sister-in-law, Dorothy Hutchinson.
Along with her parents and her husband, Margaret was preceded in death by a son at birth and her brother, Raymond Hutchinson.
