Born in Kenosha County on July 18, 1933, she was the daughter of the late August and Irma (Voelz) Voltz.
She was married to the late James A. Priddis.
Marge is known by most for her career as a nurse. She followed her dreams of becoming a nurse and received her nursing degree from Deaconess Hospital in Milwaukee. After spending 15 years as a registered nurse at Kenosha Memorial Hospital and 22 years at Brookside Care Center, she retired in 1995. She helped organize the nurses’ union at Brookside and served as the first president of the Kenosha County Federation of Nurses and Health Professionals Local 5061. After retirement she continued to work part time at various nursing homes, home care, and hospice.
Marge supported her family and worked diligently behind the scenes to support her husband, daughter, and sons in their personal and professional endeavors. Marge spent much of her time outside of work and family with a small tight knit group of friends who cared deeply for each other. They spent countless hours doing crafts, volunteering for various organizations in their community, and supporting each other.
Margaret is survived by her three children, Michelle M. Priddis, Mark J. (DeAnne) Priddis and Michael J. Priddis; two grandchildren, Brian and Megan Priddis; and her siblings, Grace Churchill, Eugene Voltz and Carol Betthauser.
