Before retiring, she spent 15 years making and baking delicious sweets at Paielli’s Bakery. She also spent many years making Italian noodles and cooking them for the Mt. Carmel Festival. After retirement she worked as a pollster at Jane Vernon Elementary School. Mafalda also volunteered as a Girl Scout leader and PTA member at St. Mary School.
