Your mom taught me how to bowl. She has always been a special Lady. I can say I have known her all my life. My mom Josephine (Torcaso) Huber bowled with her for years. Joy my husband and I met you on the island the night we got engaged. 22 years ago. She was a great lady and I will forever remember her with fond memories. Prayers to all of you.

Oh Diane, (& family)how sorry we were to have heard of Lou's passing. Everyone who knew her has such wonderful memories. Just know she will be remembered, respected, treasured for many years to come. Let the holidays now not be sad but a time to embrace those special times & hold dear to your heart. We are praying hard for peace & joy to your family knowing she is now with your Dad eternally...(sipping on an old fashioned maybe?)

My heartfelt condolences to Gail, Diane, Joy-Joy, Lee and Gary, and the rest of the Guttormsen family. I knew your mother first and foremost as the woman who kept all her kids and the occasional dog in line on 74th street. And, oh yeah, she used to be at the bowling alley too! I remember her being there with your dad and letting us explore all the nooks and crannies of the bowling alley ... and I don't think I ever had to pay to rent the shoes (do I owe you some money??). As we grow older and lose the people we love, they live on through our memories of them. Your mother was very special and touched many peoples lives and will be missed by all. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Our sincere condolences in the passing of Lou. We know she will be missed by all her family and friends. Lou was such a vibrant, knowledgeable person especially in all matters in bowling. It was always a great time working and bowling with her. The bowling community has lost a GIANT. We are not able to attend in person either her memorial or funeral, so we have sent a donation to Special Olympics in her memory per the family request. Sincerely, Kay & Richard McILquham
