Born in Kenosha, WI on January 2, 1940, to Louis and Lucia (Toigo) Giacomin, Sr. He was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School.
As an entrepreneur, Lou owned and operated “Question Mark” for many years, spent some of his career as a supervisor with AMC-Chrysler, and later maintained Brighton Dale Park and Golf Course as a member of the Kenosha County Parks Department.
He married his beloved wife, Mary Sturycz, on August 4, 1990. Their union was blessed with six children.
Throughout his life, Lou displayed unwavering dedication and love to his family, leaving an indelible mark on all those who knew him.
Lou spent precious time watching football with his great grandchildren, playing golf with friends, and baking his famous Italian cookies. A highlight of every week was cooking dinner on Sundays and enjoying the time together as a family.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; his children, Mark Giacomin, Nicole (Merv) Tridle, Michael Richie, Katrina Taylor, and Brent (Nikki) Richie; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Lou was preceded in death by his parents, and his sons, Louis Giacomin III and Louie IV.
