I have so many great memories of Lisa from Junior high and high school. She was always kind and always so happy. I can't even remember a time when she wasn't smiling. My heart and prayers go to your family. It is just sad beyond words.

We talked briefly at Hospice House, because my sister Kris was there the same time as your wife Lisa. I wanted to extend our heartfelt sympathy to you & your family. I know what a hard time this is & wanted you to know that our thoughts & prayers are with you. The Roemer Family

I am so happy that we got to know each other better during our chemo-therapy sessions. It saddens me that you lost your fight with cancer but heaven has gained a special angel in you.

Joel, My sincere condolences at your loss of Lisa. Words can't do justice to what a wonderful & caring person she was. Her smile was contagious and I know you will miss her warmth and positive attitude. I know she battled hard for you and for her loved ones these past few years. Hold faith that we will all get to see her again someday and hold comfort that you now have her as an angel looking over you. My heart grieves for you and for her beautiful children, mother & father and brother & sister that she leaves behind. Please let a little bit of her live thru your continued life and relish those wonderful memories you all created. She was lucky to have you and your strength. I know we are all grateful for the hero that you were for her. God bless and please call on me if I can help in any way with anything. Kindest regards and deepest condolences, Mark Gohlke

SO sad that Lisa was taken from us all WAY too soon! She was such a great human being, and always smiling! I've been praying steadily for her for the past few years and will continue to pray for both her and all of her family. I was so very glad to have been able to visit with her at the hospice for about an hour. Lisa will be so sadly missed by so many. Joel, Joel Jr., Heidi, and all the rest of Lisa's family will remain in my prayers. As I think someone else mentioned on Facebook. Heaven will be reverberating with laughter now that Lisa's there! Lisa's the best Angel EVER! So glad I was able to know Lisa. We'll all see her again!

Dear Family OMG!!!! I am shocked to hear of the death of my new found friend Lisa. We met two years ago when I was searching for a new home. Was going to buy her father in laws condo, but monies were not available. We immediately had a connection, our courage, attitudes were so much alike that we had many talks and supported each other in life situations. She became my realitor to sell my home until she had to go on medical leave. Her vibrant personality and genuine concern for people will never be forgotten. We had many good laughs and cries together and I am sad to have my friend leave me. My sincere condolences go out to her family at this very hard time. she was a strong woman and fought hard. She is now at peace and with god. God bless all of you. Kathy Marks
