Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintLisa A. King, age 52, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at United Hospital Systems-St. Catherine’s Campus following complications of a stroke.
Born on February 2, 1963 in North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Iola (White) Willoughby II. Moving to Kenosha as a child, Lisa attended local schools and was a 1981 graduate of Tremper High School.
On February 6, 1999, she was united in marriage to Gregory King in Kenosha.
Lisa was employed with Cherry Electrical Products for 17 years, working in different capacities over the years. She began in production, working through special order short run (R & D) and ended her career in International sales support when Cherry sold the business. On January 16, 2012, she went to work for Brightree, LLC in Paddock Lake, where she was currently employed at the time of her passing.
Lisa was a true animal lover and had a fondness for horses. She was also an avid reader, loved listening to modern music and was a football fan who loved cheering on her beloved Green Bay Packers. She was quick to make new friendships and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
Lisa will be deeply missed by her husband, Greg; their three children, Bruce Troup, Joshua King and Nicole (Patrick) Stephens; two brothers, Charles (Janelle) III and Stephen (Renee) Willoughby; five nieces and nephews, Ryan (Rachel) Sheppard, Jarried Willoughby, Linsey (Chris) Webster, Jana Martino and Sarah (Ryan) Gignac and eight great nieces and nephews, Kailey, Logan, Emily, Annabelle, Khloe, Ryder, Lucy and Christian. She was further survived by her two best childhood friends, Melody (Tim) Ricchio and Mandi (Tyse) Dodds II.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Willoughby II, Iola Andrews and a daughter, Kelly Ann Troup.
Service Date October 8, 2015
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI. Private inurnment will be held.
