Linda Marie Bauer, of Kenosha, born March 16, 1951, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Hospice Alliance House.
She was the daughter of the late Melvin and Clara (Beaumier) Minkey. She attended local schools.
On August 3, 1975, she was united in marriage to Dennis Bauer, who preceded her in death on August 6, 2014.
Linda’s spirit touched those around her; she loved her family and friends fiercely. As a long time Wisconsin resident, she enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers. Also, an avid reader, she enjoyed curling up with a good book, as well as doing jigsaw puzzles and word searches.
Linda is survived by her beloved daughter, Melissa (Aaron) Ray; two grandchildren, Logan (Rebecca) Ray and Makayla (Hyrum) Losee, and dearest friend of 50+ years, Kathleen Haupt.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Clara Minkey; husband, Dennis Bauer and brother, John Peters.
The Family would like to thank Hospice Alliance House and Piasecki Funeral Home.
Memorial services honoring Linda’s life will be held privately.
