Born in Kenosha on August 3, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Ethel (Robbins) Barsuli. Lillian attended local schools and graduated from Kenosha High School.
Lillian retired from Shopko with over 25 years of service; making many lifelong friends.
She held many positions with Women’s International Bowling Congress (WIBC) and enjoyed bowling for over 50 years. She was a dedicated Chicago Cubs and Bear’s fan, never giving up on her beloved Cubbies! Her life revolved around her children and grandchildren and her unconditional love will always be a treasured memory and inspiration.
Lillian is survived by her children, Linda (Steve) Livingston of Kenosha, Michael (Fiorella) Irwin of Phoenix, AZ; Gregg (Shelli) Irwin of Kenosha, Tony ( Donna) Niesen of Kenosha, Carla (Ken) Ladousa of Cookeville, TN and Paul ( Joan) Niesen of Kenosha along with her grandchildren, Jake (Leah) Livingston, Joe (Amanda Cifuno) Livingston, John Livingston, K.J. Irwin, Tim Irwin, Tom (Nicole) Irwin, Tammy Irwin, Chelsey Niesen, Bailey Niesen, Allan Niesen, Kira Ladousa, Adam Niesen, Zachary Niesen and Josh Niesen. She is further survived by her special niece and husband, Cathy (Troy) Boyington and their children, Ammy, Rob and Nick.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother in law, Nancy and Bob Zaloga and her brother Joseph Barsuli.
The family would like to thank Aurora at Home, especially her nurse, Jill Zoet for their constant and compassionate care and many thanks to the nurses at Aurora Hospital.
Service Date August 1, 2016
A Funeral Service honoring Lillian’s life will be held on Monday, August 1st, 2016 at 12 Noon at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI. Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
