She fought a fierce battle but even a great warrior can't win every time. Stay strong Kayla, she'll always be with you.

Have you ever known someone that lights up a room when they walk in and ALWAYS has something really nice to say no matter what is happening in her life? Someone with a deep unwavering faith in our Lord Jesus Christ no matter what life threw at her. A woman that was a wonderful loving mother, who raised a beautiful, kind, smart and loving daughter Kayla who embodies so many of her mom's traits including the beauty inside and out she possessed. I sure did! I am blessed to have known you Kyoung Yun Duchac, and to call you our friend. Kyoung, has gone home to our Lord and Savior. I am relieved you are no longer in pain, but selfishly miss your cheery smile and posts with your two girls, Kayla Duchac and little Miss Daisy Duke. My heart is heavy and so sad. Kyoung was a warrior. She battled cancer and won, went through two back to back knee replacements and came out like a champ afterwards. And then just like that cancer reared its ugly head again and Kyoung lost her final battle, way too young, only 50 years here on earth. Kyoung, I have admired your strength and determination all of these years. We are all blessed to have had you in our lives for the time we had. I was so sure you would be coming back down to sip on cocktails at Mogie’s Tiki Bar and relax by the pond in the tropics with us. I was so sure… I hoped and prayed that we would once again have fun with Doug and Bonnie and Kayla down here in Miami. I swear it was just like a couple of years ago, but was more like 8-10 years ago. Time flies by so fast. In a blink life is forever changed. Rest in Peace my friend, give Dory a kiss for me and I will see you again. I love you and this picture is how I will always remember you...laughing, full of life and loving your daughter. Kayla, you are always in our thoughts and prayers as your mom was daily. Our deepest sympathy and condolences on your loss, your best friend and mom.
