Throughout the course of life you have the rare privilege of meeting a man that truly gives more of himself than he ever expects in return. I met Kenny at Greco's Restaurant, where my Aunt Lil was a waitress. A hangout for the squads and I was just entering the Marine Corps. Kenny schooled me on what to expect--and instilled a pride and respect for what he knew they would make of me. We shared that Semper Fi camaraderie throughout our lives. From my Dad and I running Friars Lounge--where Kenny and the boys always took care of us...he became a valued friend and a part of our family and staff. It seems like just yesterday I can hear him shagging a passing vagrant out of our parking lot.... in his own indisputable commanding voice and gestures. Its been decades since Ive seen him--but he's the kind of friend you never forget. True friends like Kenny are a rarity. Im proud to say he was my pal...and will miss him always. Like all good marines he's guarding the streets of heaven...and happy doing it.

Kenny was an amazing man. His humor would make anyone laugh. I remember he use to come to my mother's house in the back yard in the summer and make us laugh so hard we were crying. He was the best. Always wanting to help. Loved by so so many and will never be forgotten and deeply missed. God bless him. Deepest condolences to his family, friends and loved ones.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to Kenny's entire family. Although its been many years since we have seen Kenny. Our neighborhood sure got crazy when Kenny & Sandy moved in next door. We were around for the birth of Courtney and I remember hanging out with Louie in the neighborhood. Kenny always try to be macho but deep down was just really a teddy bear. 35 years later I still talk about the time we went to the store in Kenny's new car and his dog Penelope, got sick everywhere and we tore that car apart for hour and cleaned it all up before he had to go into work on third shift so he wouldn't get mad at the dog. And he went to wok and never knew for many years what really happened. A lot of good time were had. With sympathy, Peter Fani Donna Fani Dawn(Fani)& Steve Herman , Stephanie& Emily

I hesitated to write; I have spoken these stories on many occasions, now I would like it to be written and more permanent. I have known Kenny since Gateway; we shared many life's events. First the 7/11 thing not the year just the date, and friendship, my goodness I hardly would make it through Kenosha when there was, the lights and the squad car following me one time he was waiting outside my church, can you imagine the look on the pastor's face. His sisters Nancy we meet in high school, his brother in law Pat we shared the same industry. Who would have thought while at a private event on a Chicago boat dinner dance? There were Nancy and Pat; I had no idea Pat was married to Nancy. This event was the first and last time I had ever run into anyone from Kenosha at an industry social gathering. Joan, Ken recommend her to take care of my Aunt Wally (God bless her for that, my aunt was difficult), and then Kenny taking vacations on Marco Island staying next door to my cousin Angie. One time, while on a business trip changing planes at the Miami airport someone yelled my name, goodness I was happy to see Kenny thankful he was not in uniform. Ken was of great opinion; we had a disagreement in college, ten years later while he was working at the Pig, he brought it up every time I was shopping there, another ten years with the change of public opinion he finally forgot about it. His opinions on this election!!! Let me say, every time I was staying at Trump Towers, Ken always asked for the room key, soap, water bottle, shampoo or the cream rinse, mouthwash anything with the Trump name on it. Of course, I sent him a package. He would have preferred someone else, as his facebook peeps know!!! Ken was respectful, and with great honor, I will miss him forever, and pray for his family.

Dear Carrie and The entire Kopesky family, it is with a heavy heart that I send condolences on your loss of Kenny! I really grew up with your family in south Kenosha, Kenny was a party of my childhood and a wonderful memory that will live on. I never did get down to Naples to visit him. I will never ever forget Kenny respecting our anominity regarding a crime that a friend and I wanted to report. What a ride that was!!! Always a protector of the law!! Ask me sometime, it's quite a story! The criminal was convicted by the way. Kenny is with the Lord he so loved, also little brother Louie, mom and dad and others. He rests in forever sunshine! Much love and sincere condolences, Donna Sevey White, Rotonda West, Florida
