Born in Kenosha on July 22, 1974, he was the son of Raymond D. Pecha and Sharon (Neu) Sherfinski.
He was educated in the Kenosha schools; attending Bradford High School and Gateway Technical College.
On October 21, 2000 in Las Vegas, he was united in marriage to Bobbie Blake.
Kelly worked for the Flannery Fire Protection, Inc. in Kenosha for 17 years and was a member of the Sprinkler Fitters Local #281 in IL.
Kelly was extremely creative and had many interests and talents. One of his biggest passions was music. Whether it was playing the drums, writing songs to the beat of a guitar, or singing and engaging a crowd in a way only a great performer could, this is what brought him the biggest joy.
Kelly loved to cook, garden, camp, paint, and take pictures, with one of his most recent passions being saltwater fish. If he wasn’t participating in one of these activities, he would always find some crazy project to tackle.
One of Kelly’s biggest attributes was just simply making others happy. He was the life of the party, while at the same time taking the time to make sure everybody was attended to and having fun; especially the kids. There was never one person in his presence that didn’t feel his love.
Family and friends were what Kelly ultimately lived for. He always did his best to make sure everybody was together and connected, with his children being lucky enough to have benefited from this the most. Kelly’s caring and loving nature will be impossible for anybody who ever crossed his path to forget, and he will undoubtedly be forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie; his children, Korey Pecha, Ollie Pecha and Maxwell Pecha; his parents, Sharon and Mark Sherfinski; his brothers, Kevin (Jamie) Pecha and Kenny (Rebecca) Pecha; mother in law, Carolyn (Jerry) Flannery and sister in law, Tammy (Jason) Schnaare along with many loving uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kelly was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Irene Pecha; maternal grandparents, Bernard and Elizabeth Neu and a brother in law, Freddie Blake.
Service Date September 28, 2018
Funeral Services honoring Kelly’s life will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 4816 7th Ave. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
