Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintKarla Marie Anzelone Banda, age 46, passed away at RUSH University Medical Center in Chicago, IL on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Elmhurst, IL on January 16, 1977, she was the daughter of Daniel and Nancy (D’Agostino) Anzelone. Karla was a graduate of Queen of Peace High School. She continued her education and earned her Bachelor of Art in Computer Science and Math at Monmouth College and her Master of Arts in Adult Education at National-Louis University.
On August 4, 2012, in Romeoville, IL, she was united in marriage to Veron Banda, as she called him Victor.
Karla worked as a Senior Epic Analyst for 20 years.
She attended CrossWay Community Church in Bristol, WI.
Karla volunteered at CrossWay Kids and Knights of Columbus in Westmont for many years and other support groups. She enjoyed taking bubble baths, traveling to Disney, Alaska and Africa, cooking, learning, reading and puppies.
She is survived by her loving husband, Veron and her sister, Pamela Anzelone, as well as her fur baby, Lil Guy (aka Mustache).
Karla was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Nancy Anzelone.

SERVICE LOCATION CrossWay Community Church
Funeral services honoring Karla’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 29, 2023 at CrossWay Community Church, 13905 75th Street.
Interment will follow in Bristol – Paris Cemetery.
A visitation for Karla will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
