Odegard-Soronen, a mother of three passed gently in her sleep on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, after a great battle in which she lived and fought with every day. She was born on March 20, 1971, to Elaine and Lorn Odegard in Kenosha, WI, where she lived and let her light shine on so many.
Karen’s life was defined by her unwavering love and beautiful soul. Her presence could change or shape a room with just her warmth and joy to all those around her. Her charisma, fun and delight will live on through her boys who are blessed to have her beauty, intellect and strength and she will never be forgotten. In her spare time, she enjoyed tending to her plants and flowers and loved music and dancing which was her life.
She is survived by her loving sons, Jacob Fanelli, Ryan and Evan Soronen; loving mother, Elaine Odegard, sister, Christine Odegard; brother, Kai (Kara) Odegard; stepmother, Carol Odegard; stepbrothers, Colvin and Anthony Conley; her nephew and many nieces, as well as many special friends and relatives.
Karen was preceded in death by her father, Lorn Odegard.

SERVICE LOCATION Piasecki Funeral Home
Funeral services honoring Karen’s life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave, Kenosha, WI.
Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
A visitation for Karen will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
