Just saw this sad news. I remember Julia from many years ago. She and my mom, Verna (Lukawski) Ziesemer were close buddies for years. So many memories of playing with the kids. Going to events at St. Casimers. My deepest sympathies to the family, especially Susie. May you find peace in the days and years to come.

My Auntie Julia was a very special person. I’m sure she is happily singing at the top of her lungs right now, along with Our Heavenly Father’s angel choir. She was a strong, hard-working, loving, and giving person her entire life. She was the youngest of 15 children, of Italian immigrant parents. My father, Romeo Rizzotto, the middle son of the family, lovingly called her his “little baby sister”. It was amazing to see our family resemblance when her current photo was posted. My sincere love & condolences to her dear children. I have so much more of the family story to tell. Perhaps I should write a Rizzotto book some day (I’m 72). Xoxo My love to you all from myself, & my husband, Sam (whom had the pleasure of meeting her in 2014). She was awesome!!
