I was somewhere, on a trip, not far from home, but far enough. I remember wanting to talk to someone who I knew would give me comfort, maybe I was feeling sad about something or empty in some way. The person I called was my mother in law. I called her often throughout the years and she always brought me solace. I am grateful for her. I love her and will miss her.

Diana and Robby, I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. I have such good memories of her. She was always especially nice to us when we did stupid stuff and should have yelled at us ?. She was a great lady and I’m glad I got to grow up with her. The world will be a less interesting place without her. Sending love and prayers.

I can not begin to tell you how much I will miss my Best Friend. She was my neighbor for 50 years and I have never known a more selfless person. We did many things together and she was always there for me. She was given many hurdles in life but she always handled them. As her sight left her challenged she did all she could to keep a home for her and her son. We have many happy memories of her and it was a pleasure to have had her in my life. God took her home and I am sure she will keep an eye on all of us.

My sister, Jo, did not have an easy life, but in spite of illness, in spite of the archenemy sorrow, she remained happy in her own special way. God knew you were in pain and that you were suffering. It broke our hearts to lose you, but we know you did not go alone. A part of us went with you. I have no words to tell you how much joy you brought to my life. All the many spacial things you you did for me. In the last 60 years not once did you say an unkind word to me, isn’t that something, isn’t that special, isn’t that real love. Love that will remain in my heart. You, my dear sister, will be missed.

My Nana was one of the most selfless, hard working and loving people I’ve ever known. She was never afraid to give her opinions or offer advice because she always wanted what was best for everyone she cared about. She would tell me throughout my teens and 20’s that I never needed a man and that family, friends and education should always be a first priority. “Josie” took care of me as a little girl when my mom was experiencing health issues and as a teen when I became sick, she supported me; calling me every day. My nana was an amazing cook who brought the best recipes from the old country. I would save her sauce in my freezer for when I was homesick. She loved fresh basil, chamomile and lavender and loved wearing pastels. She was everything to me and I love her so much. When I was a small child I asked her if she’d write a letter to me from heaven so I’d know it was real and that she made it up there. She’d say you know I can’t send you a letter, but I promise you I’ll send you a sign. Rest In Peace, Nana. I will always think of you.
