Joseph G. Romanak, age 94 of Kenosha, died on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Crossroads Care Center of Kenosha.
He was born on June 15, 1923 in Park Falls, WI and was the son of the late Joseph and Clotilde (Foley) Romanak. Joseph moved to Kenosha in the 1950’s.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.
On April 22, 1958 in Waukegan, IL, he was united in marriage to Margaret Mary Beitz. They were blessed with 55 years of marriage; sadly Margaret passed away on July 11, 2013.
For over 35 years, Joe was employed as a department head at Ladish Company, Tri-Clover division.
He was an avid golfer until he was 89 years old and enjoyed playing the horses and stock market. Joe was most proud of his whole family.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Dr. Joseph (Kathleen) Romanak and his grandson, Joseph T. Romanak.
Special thanks to Dr. Leonardo Montemurro and his staff for the loving care they provided Joseph.
Per Joseph’s wishes, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
