Born on June 12, 1958 in Cotulla, TX, she was the daughter of the late Pedro and Guadalupe (Tellez) Garcia.
On January 25, 1980, Erma was united in marriage to Eddie C. Valdez in Kenosha.
Great joy came in caring for her grandchildren, growing her beautiful plants and spending precious time with her loving family.
Erma will be dearly missed by her husband, Eddie C. Valdez; her children, Eddie Garcia, Elizabeth (Emiliano Barrera) Garcia, Ethan Valdez, Eric Valdez, her sisters, Herlinda Valdez, Sally (Vino) Perez, Jeannie (Johnny Perez) Garcia; her brothers, Jose (Silvia) Garcia, Pedro (Mary Babel) Garcia, all of Kenosha; her sister, Angie (David) Silva of Berryville, AR; her grandchildren, Eddie Diaz, Elliana Isenberg, Emiliano Barrera, Elesette Barrera, Eleo Barrera, Roxie Valdez, Lexi Valdez, Stacy Valdez, Brandon Valdez, Gabriella Valdez, Erica Valdez, Erin Valdez, Emily Valdez, Emerie Valdez, Earia Valdez, Eric Valdez, Enve Valdez, Eain Valdez, and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Erma was preceded in death by her brothers, Rojelio Garcia and Pedro Garcia Jr.; her sister, Erma Garcia; her grandson, Esai Barrera, and her brother-in-law, Robert Valdez.

SERVICE LOCATION Piasecki Funeral Home
Funeral services honoring Erma’s life will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue, Kenosha, WI 53144.
Interment will be held in St. Casimir Cemetery.
A visitation for Erma will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Due to public health concerns, and in compliance with CDC guidelines, only 50 people will be permitted to enter the funeral home at one time. For the safety of our guests, you may be asked to wait outside. Social distancing will be maintained and those in attendance are required to wear a face covering. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this difficult time.
