Deb, I am sorry I was unable to come to support you and the family but unfortunately I had to work. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. Jon was a good man and I know he will be missed.

Jon, I have too many fond memories of you to be able to list just one. I can hardly remember a time when you were not smiling and I always see you that way. We had many good times in high school and at Winona State Univ. I love you my friend and I will miss you greatly.

Despite winning the 185# championship match by pinning Bill Kazmaier (later to become 2X world's strongest man), and being named the Outstanding Wrestler at the Bradford Invitational, Jon was not happy because the team missed taking a first by 1 point. (That year Tremper was 13-0 in dual meets and won every tournament--except that one.

Heaven will be blessed to have Jon there to give laughter and joy, as he did for us while he was here. Our family loved him and his wife, Debbie and we have spent many happy times together, how could you not, with such wonderful people. May the Lord Bless you all during this most personal loss. Mary
