Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintJohn T. “Jack” Smith, age 84, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at St. Joseph’s Home for the Aged.
Born on June 1, 1930, in Kenosha, he was the son of the late George D. and Elmira (Hansen) Smith. He attended local schools and was a graduate of Kenosha High School.
On February 3, 1951, he was united in marriage to Marilyn “Meredith” Smith in the rectory of St. James Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on July 22, 2011.
Jack was employed as a machinist with Ladish/Tri-Clover for 37 years, retiring in 1992.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and was an avid bowler and golfer.
Jack will be deeply missed by his three children, Deborah (Donald) Pegoraro, Thomas (Kathy) and David (Dawn) Smith; a brother, James (Marge) Smith; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, George Smith, Jr.

In accordance with Jack’s wishes, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Home for the Aged Chapel, 9244 29th Avenue. Private entombment will be held in All Saints Mausoleum.
